Designers Robert and Emily have worked together on a variety of projects such as buildings for the Chelsea flower show for landscape gardener Julian Dowell and The Salvation Army. The show garden won a bronze medal and the BBC People's Choice.

Emily Burke
Director & Designer

Emily Burke has a professional Diploma in Interior Design (National Design Academy), a BA Honours Degree in Contemporary Arts (Nottingham Trent University) and CIPD in People Management (Solent University).

She has managed a range of residential building projects which include styling properties for long and short term rentals and holiday lets. She has also successfully improved property layout, design and interior styling to increase property resale value.

She has experience in project management ensuring multiple trades keep to work schedules and the work is completed within

time and budget.

Robert Brain
Design Consultant

Robert Brain started his career as a lecturer of art. He has since collaborated on many prestigious projects with renowned professionals including garden designer Julian Dowell, mosaicist Lucio Orsoni of Venice, glass artists Bradley Basso, and glass specialists Proto Studios.  It was whilst working with Bradley Basso on a large interior design project in London that he first encountered the exciting world of glass art and became fascinated with its creative possibilities. His work has been exhibited in the Business Design Centre and the Bankside Gallery in London, and in several regional galleries including The Art Gallery in Tetbury.  It is held in various private and corporate collections both in the UK and internationally.  

 

He has a breadth of experience in designing a range of building projects from small residential extensions and free standing buildings, to large commercial builds such as care homes and student accomodation.  

From his days as a carpenter he has developed skills and an understanding of wood and has designed and built a range of furniture for clients who have required a bespoke piece of furniture to complete a specific interior design project.
